Adult Protective Behaviours Workshop

This workshop runs for 8 weeks across February to April 2019. Everyone is welcome to join.  Auslan interpreter will attend each session. Please register your interest bu using the contact details below.

Group goals:

To assist participants to:

  • Assert their right to feel safe
  • Listen to what their body tells them- warning signs
  • Improved assertiveness and greater independence
  • How to have and maintain healthy relationships
  • Reduced risk of sexual abuse
  • The language to report an incidence of abuse
  • Protective behaviours principles
  • Cyber safety
  • Healthier choices – Lessen chance of risk-taking behaviours 

Where: Senses Australia, 11 Kitchener Ave, Burswood

When: Starting Wednesday 27th of February, 2019 4.30pm – 6.00pm

Cost: For NDIS/WANDIS clients $1060 per person for 8 week course. (DPS clients covered by Block Funding)
