Scott retires after 43 years
Scott has been a client of SensesWA for over 10 years and has worked at Goodwill Engineering for over 43 years. This year Scott has decided he is ready to retire so he can have more time to the things he wants to do and best of all, there’ll be more time to try new things.
“I loved working, I worked for 43 years, but now it’s time for me to try new things. I was a very good employee. I won a lot of awards like for best worker, safe worker, consistent worker, reliable worker.
I’m going to miss work now that I am retired, but I feel great about retiring. It’s about time that I retire because I want to learn something new and do lots of new activities.
I’m excited because my therapy team at SensesWA are going to work with me on my new activities and I’ll be having more support workers so we can go out more often. I love doing bocci and going to the football, but I want to do more new activities. It’s an exciting time for me.” (Scott)
